If you by chance find a problem while using Thudio, you could follow the steps below:
Screening posibilities
- Make sure you're using the recommended version
- Read System Requirements for more information.
- Make sure you're using use Sketchup version 2017 or later
- Make sure you're using the latest version of Thudio (www.thudio.com)
- Make sure you have a good internet connection
General Case
- Try closing and re-opening Thudio
- Try closing and re-opening SketchUp
- Try uninstall and re-installing Thudio
- Go to How to Install Thudio article for more detail
- Try to disable the firewall.
- If you have the "Network Unstable" sign in the lower right, please reset your internet connection.
- Allow or disable firewall https://pureinfotech.com/allow-apps-firewall-windows-10/
- Install SketchUp as an administrator
Persistent Case
If the problem persists, send the error message found in:
A. Error message A: Ruby console
- Open Windows> Ruby Console
- Keep Ruby Console windows open
- Repeat the action that causes the error (i.e: Extensions> Thudio)
- Copy and email the error message found in Ruby Console to Thudio
B. Error message B: Dev Tools
- Right-click in any Thudio windows> Show Dev Tools
- Open Console Tab
- Repeat the action that causes the error (i.e: Extensions> Thudio)
- Copy and email the error message found in Console Tab to Thudio
